What does window tint really cost?

The honest answer depends on the vehicle, film, windows, glass complexity, and existing tint. SunBlock Tinting publishes clear starting points and provides an automotive quote builder so customers can combine a package, windshield, and brow before requesting a confirmed quote.

01

Vehicle class

Size is more than a badge on the tailgate.

Cars and sedans are the first pricing class. Midsize trucks and SUVs include examples such as Colorado, Canyon, Tacoma, Ranger, Frontier, Maverick, RAV4, and CR-V. Full-size, large, and HD examples include F-150, Silverado, Ram 1500, Tundra, Tahoe, Suburban, 2500/3500, and dually vehicles.

Published front-two-window prices are $140 for cars and sedans and $160 for both midsize and full-size/large/HD classes. The final classification and quote still depend on the actual vehicle and glass.

  • Cars and sedans: front two from $140
  • Midsize trucks and SUVs: front two from $160
  • Full-size, large, and HD: front two from $160
  • Year, make, and model help confirm the class

Film system

Carbon and ceramic have different price points.

GeoShield C2 Carbon is the value-focused nano-carbon option. Published full-vehicle prices are $350 for cars, $400 for midsize trucks and SUVs, and $500 for full-size, large, and HD vehicles.

GeoShield Pro Nano is the premium comfort-focused nano-ceramic option. Published full-vehicle prices are $450, $500, and $600 across those same three classes. The film difference is one of the clearest choices a customer can make before building an estimate.

  • C2 Carbon full vehicle: $350–$500 by class
  • Pro Nano full vehicle: $450–$600 by class
  • Choose around value versus premium comfort
  • Available shades and legal limits are a separate decision
03

Windshield and brow

Add-ons should be priced with the package.

A customer may want a full installation plus a windshield and brow, or only one of those items. The existing automotive builder supports multiple compatible choices so the estimate matches the requested work.

Published standard front-windshield prices are $200, $220, and $250 by the three vehicle classes. Ceramic windshield prices are $250, $260, and $300. Windshield brows are $60 for cars, $70 for midsize trucks and SUVs, and $80 for full-size, large, and HD vehicles.

  • Standard windshield: $200–$250 by class
  • Ceramic windshield: $250–$300 by class
  • Windshield brow: $60–$80 by class
  • Texas tint laws apply to shade and placement

Condition and service

Existing film and access can change the work.

Old, bubbling, peeling, or unwanted film adds removal work before a clean replacement can begin. Published removal pricing is $25 per window or $200 for a full vehicle. Glass complexity and existing tint can also affect the confirmed quote.

Mobile service starts at $25 based on distance. SunBlock Tinting is mobile and appointment only; customers may stop by 222 Llano St in Lockhart after calling or texting first. Use the automotive builder for a preliminary total, then send the vehicle details through the quote page for confirmation.
